Micropoint's extensive R&D in MEMS and Microfluidics has had profound impact on every aspect of the MEMS product development process, including MEMS chip design, MEMS chip fabrication, design verification with low-volume pilot production, transitioning to high-volume production, and assembly line design for mass production. Micropoint’s MEMS and microfluidic team has successfully developed multiple MEMS and nanotechnology-based devices such as microfluidic control devices for the mLabs® platform.
R&D in MEMS and Microfluidics contributes to meet the high demand on accuracy, consistency and reproducibility of our diagnostic cartridge by designing tailor-made, and integrated microfluidic solutions. Development activities include active microfluidic valve, surface chemistry combining with biotechnology. Micropoint's next generation microfluidic cartridge will feature dynamic flow control, high sensitive diagnostic biocard, multichannel and multiplexing system. Those are the crucial elements of the research and development pipeline to ensure a high quality POCT system.
